About Pingwell 

Pingwell is creating computer vision applications for use on smartphones. 

We are particularly focused on retail as this is an area of huge growth and opportunity over the next decade. 

We believe that grocery retail is an industry that needs a revolution. We are developing computer vision technology that will make mobile apps more useful to consumers and retailers. We are using state of the art machine learning algorithms to deliver the right information to consumers and retailers at the right time. 

We firmly believe the mobile revolution is much closer to its beginning than its ultimate realization. We have several principles that inform our business strategy:  
  • Mobile applications must deliver timely, relevant and valuable information to consumers in order to gain and maintain trust and loyalty. 
  • Information will eventually converge on mobile devices to compete for consumers' business in the CPG space. This will happen for many reasons, not least of which is the measurability of new forms of marketing that are emerging on the platform.
